Worthing Table Tennis Club has unveiled its summer timetable, ensuring players of all ages can continue enjoying regular coaching and playing opportunities throughout the school holidays before a short end-of-summer break.
The club’s regular coaching and playing programme will continue until Friday 14th August, giving members plenty of opportunities to keep improving their game, stay active and enjoy table tennis over the summer.
Following an incredibly busy year, the club will then take a short break before returning on Wednesdays 2nd September, allowing the coaching team, volunteers and staff a well-earned opportunity to recharge ahead of another exciting season.
Although the weekly programme pauses after 14th August, the club’s busiest week of the summer is still to come.
From 10th–14th August, Worthing will host its hugely popular Summer Performance Camp, bringing together players from across the UK to train with an outstanding international coaching team. The camp offers high-quality technical coaching, tactical development, player-led learning, individual feedback and optional one-to-one coaching sessions, making it one of the region’s premier summer table tennis events.
The action continues on Saturday 15th August, when Worthing Table Tennis Club hosts its National 2-Star Tournament. Players from around the country will compete across a full day of high-quality table tennis, with the event providing valuable ranking points and competitive experience in a professionally run tournament environment.
With an exciting finish to the summer and a new season just around the corner, Worthing Table Tennis Club looks forward to welcoming everyone back on 1st September for another year of coaching, competition and community table tennis.
