Care Homes
We’re delighted to be able to offer FREE taster sessions for a period of 6 weeks to care homes and elderly support groups starting February 2022! It’s always been an ambition of the club to be part of the Worthing community and deliver beneficial activities to the local people. We will be working in partnership with the following organisations from 4th February 2022:
Dementia Friendly Worthing is a local organisation who supports people living with dementia and their families and carers. They provide guidance, advice on local services and social events. Dementia Hub was launched as a secure place where people with the diagnosis can come to meet others, share stories and have some fun! If you know anyone with dementia or an early diagnosis that can benefit from getting out and seeing other people, do get in touch and pay Dementia Hub Worthing a visit at 46 Goring Road, Goring-by-Sea, Worthing BN12 2AD.

Guild Care is Worthing’s leading social care charity supporting people to live fulfilling, happy and secure lives. Several care homes in Worthing are under Guild Care’s umbrella and Methold House is the lucky pioneer in hosting table tennis activities for their residents!
We hope that will be the first of many as we’re looking forward to building our relationship with this amazing charity.
Rehabilitation programme
Sight Support Worthing is a charity aiming to inspire and support the visually impaired community through practical, inclusive and welcoming activities and resources designed to benefit those who are blind or partially sighted and their families. An organisation doing an incredible work to who most needs…

AccessibleTT is the gateway to our Rehabilitation Programme, enabling participants to access a continuous physical and mental activity in a fun, inclusive and welcoming environment. Aimed to build self-esteem and physical skills, this session will open doors to players becoming more involved in the club by accessing other club sessions. Participants will be supported by experienced disabled players and coaches who are looking forward to sharing their knowledge and contributing to happier and healthier lives.
