The Horsham Spinner 2 Star event saw strong performances from all three players competing in the Under 14 and Under 15 categories.
In the Under 14 event, both Vincent Ridley and Roscoe Hill delivered impressive displays, progressing through their groups to reach the quarter-finals. Vincent in particular stood out by winning his group, showing excellent consistency and control throughout the early stages of the competition.
Finn Orr faced a tougher group stage and was unfortunately placed into the plate competition. However, he responded brilliantly, putting together a series of fantastic wins to reach the plate final. The final itself was closely contested, with a few controversial points not going Finn’s way. Despite a strong performance, he finished as runner-up, which was still a commendable achievement given his run through the draw.
In the Under 15 event, Vincent Ridley continued his strong form, advancing to the quarter-finals once again. He competed well but was ultimately defeated by the 3rd seed, marking another solid performance at a higher age category.
