Worthing Closed Table Tennis Tournament Returns for 2026
The Worthing table tennis community is gearing up for one of its most anticipated local competitions as the Worthing Closed Table Tennis Tournament returns on Saturday 18 April 2026, hosted at Bohunt School.
The annual event is open to members of Worthing table tennis league and promises a full day of competitive and enjoyable table tennis across a wide range of categories. Organisers are encouraging as many club players as possible to take part and make the event a celebration of local table tennis talent.
This year’s tournament will feature a variety of events to suit players of all standards and ages, including:
- Divisional Singles
- Men’s Open Singles
- Women’s Open Singles
- Men’s Doubles
- Women’s Doubles
- Mixed Doubles
- Veterans’ Open
- Junior Singles
In a change to the format for 2026, the popular Handicap Event will be held separately to allow for more matches and an even more enjoyable playing experience for participants. The handicap competition will take place on Tuesday 14 April from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, also at Bohunt School.
Tournament organisers hope the new schedule will give players more opportunities to compete and maximise playing time while keeping the event fun and inclusive for everyone.
Players from across Worthing Table Tennis Club are warmly encouraged to enter, support their fellow members, and take part in what promises to be a fantastic week of table tennis.
