The second county Sussex Novice took place and following his success in the previous Novice event Hoy Wen Leung showed his talent by again taking home the gold medal. The club had 4 other players taking part in the event.
Evie Muggeridge showed her improvement by reaching the semi-finals, while John Girgis, who has only been playing since September reached the final 8 along with Finley Dharmalingam, who showed his mental strength and improvement winning 4 of 5, 5th set matches and was unlucky to go out on countback to the final 4.
Ava Muggeridge put the disappointment of the group stages behind her to find some form to take home gold in the consolation event.
